Spider-Man: Miles Morales Dev Warns Of Spoilers
Spider-Man: Miles Morales is coming next week, right alongside the launch of the PlayStation 5. That means early copies are going out as well, and Insomniac has warned that raises the risk of spoilers circulating online. If you want to go in completely green, you may want to avoid forums or comment sections for a bit.
Community director James Stevenson issued the warning on Twitter, suggesting that spoilers could come in the form of story details or even just unlockable suits. In the replies, he also said that copies are currently moving around the world, from warehouses to stores, in preparation for the November 12 global release date. A copy could leak, and since it’s also on PS4, the earlier players wouldn’t necessarily need a PS5.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a spin-off from the 2018 Marvel’s Spider-Man from Insomniac, and takes place after the conclusion of that game’s story and its DLC. It stars Miles Morales instead of Peter Parker, who received his own superpowers in the course of that game. While it features a different hero behind the mask, the story could have major implications for Insomniac’s Spider-Man universe.
We’re at that time when copies of the game start getting out into people’s hands from all sorts of sources. So if you care about spoilers, whether they be for the story or suits we haven’t shown, be careful.

Plenty of details have already been revealed by the marketing for Miles Morales, including a wonderful Spider-Verse suit that changes the character’s animations and frame rate.
Though Miles Morales is being treated as a PS5 launch game, it’s also releasing on PS4 on the same date. There’s also an Ultimate Edition that includes a voucher for Spider-Man Remastered, a touched-up version of the 2018 game. For more details check out our Spider-Man: Miles Morales preorder guide.
